Stress is believed to trigger 70% of visits to doctors, and 85% of serious illnesses (UK HSE stress statistics). The Health and Safety Executive have reported that 12 billion days are lost within the UK to sickness absence each year and over 13 million of these are due directly to reported stress. Regardless of whether stress originates inside or outside of work, assisting staff to manage it makes good business sense. Furthermore, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 places a duty on employers to safeguard the health, safety and well-being of all workers.
We can provide one to one coaching sessions for staff, enabling them to take more control of issues and strengthen their psychological and/or physical resources.
